Mercado Libre required a bulletproof digital infrastructure to host their official creators' awards. The platform needed to seamlessly process massive public voting while simultaneously managing an exclusive VIP guest list, all without crashing under extreme traffic spikes.
Execution
- Mapped two distinct user journeys — mass public voting and restricted VIP access — and translated them into platform requirements on AWS with LGPD compliance.
- Engineered quick-registration with OTP validation for the public, alongside a restricted RSVP flow using tax ID (CPF) validation and dynamic QR-code ticketing for 1,400 VIP attendees.
- Owned the end-to-end product delivery, including the automated communication layer via WhatsApp and email.
